This Cookie Notice explains how Kyroco, LLC (“Kyroco,” “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, what categories we use, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, and we set no analytics, preference, or advertising cookies unless you consent. Where the law requires consent, non-essential cookies stay off until you accept them, you can change your mind at any time, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, and SDKs that perform comparable functions. Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a provider we use), and either session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a set period).
| Category | What it does | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required to operate the site and keep it secure - including remembering your cookie choice and, in the app, keeping you signed in. The site does not function without these. | No (exempt) |
| Preferences | Remember things that make the site more personal. Today there is one: if you are signed in to the Korium app, kyroco_initials lets this site show your initials in the header, linking to your dashboard. They are the first letter of each of the first two words of the name on your account (or its first two letters, if it is one word), or, if you have not given a name, the first two letters or digits of your email address. Accents are left off, and a name with no letters from A to Z uses your email's letters instead. If you change your name, the new initials show here after you next sign in. It holds only those one or two letters or digits, never your email or anything that signs you in, and it is deleted when you close your browser. The app sets it only after you accept, and removes it when you sign out, when your sign-in ends, or when you reject. |

| Analytics | Help us understand aggregate site usage (which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and what device and browser they use) so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, on kyroco.ai only, and only after you accept. Google’s advertising features are turned off. It sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<container ID>, each kept for up to two years. Rejecting, or changing your choice later, stops it and removes both. We also use HeyCatch, provided by HeyCatch, Inc., on kyroco.ai only and only after you accept, to see which pages are visited, where visitors come from, which social channel a visit came through, and what is clicked, so we can improve the site and our marketing. It sets one first-party cookie, named ph_, then a code for our HeyCatch account, then _posthog, and keeps it for up to one year. It also saves entries in your browser’s local storage and session storage, holding a random ID for your device, IDs for your visit and your browser tab, and the page you arrived on. It does not record what you type, and it is not loaded on the Where does it hurt survey page. Rejecting, or changing your choice later, stops HeyCatch and removes its cookie and stored entries, except a one-line note that you said no, which keeps it off. |

| Advertising / targeting | We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. | Not used |
The one cookie we always set is a first-party record of your cookie choice, kyroco_consent, kept for up to one year so we do not ask again on every visit (some browsers, such as Safari, keep it for a shorter time, and then we ask again). Our app at app.kyroco.ai reads it too, so it knows whether you accepted before it sets kyroco_initials. When we add a kind of cookie an earlier “accept” did not cover, as we did with Google Analytics and again with HeyCatch, the banner asks you again before any of it is set. If and when we introduce more preference or analytics cookies, this notice will name the specific cookies, their providers, and their durations before any are set.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can reopen it at any time to change your choice: .
You can also control cookies through your browser settings (blocking or deleting them), though strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off without affecting how the site works. Where required by law, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
We may update this Cookie Notice as our use of cookies changes. Material updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Questions? Contact us at reports@kyroco.ai.
